The expansive work of Gandel Philanthropy, the private family foundation of John and Pauline Gandel, has attracted many accolades in recent years, including the Great Australian Philanthropy Award for health and medical research in 2015 and, most recently, the 2016 Premier’s Award for Community Harmony in Victoria for support in building social cohesion and inclusion.
