What do you see as the greatest challenge facing philanthropy in 2017?
Philanthropists are grappling with connecting with each other—there is a huge desire to share and learn from each other’s experience, wisdom, and…the big one: data. If we want to influence and facilitate change, we need to create openings for this kind of collaboration to occur and to find the junctures that can increase our impact collectively. Our sector has a range of structures and vehicles that can be utilised to leverage a range of responses – if we spend time working out the areas to convene on, we can better leverage the potential that exists.
